We continue to search for the most exciting companies and products to launch at the DEMOfall conference in September.
Next, Chris Shipley and I are coming to Los Angeles!
Tomorrow, Wednesday, June 24, we’re meeting up for an evening of cocktails and conversation at The Parlor (pictured) in Santa Monica at 1519 Wilshire Blvd (at 15th).
We’ll start at 6:30pm. The first 40 folks through the door receive a drink ticket good for your favorite beer or wine. Make sure you register here.
We’ll be flying in from Seattle, where we met up last night with more than 150 entrepreneurs, investors and other professionals. Chris and I have been pretty impressed with the companies we’ve met so far on the East Coast and in San Francisco, Palo Alto, and Seattle. We’ll be in Boston and Austin next week.
We’re reaching out to invite some CEOs, investors and others, but we’re opening these events up to other professionals too. If you’re thinking about launching a great company in the September time frame and want to know more about DEMO and the new additions we’ve made to our format to encourage earlier stage entrepreneurs, come on out!
Chris and I will also be holding meetings with entrepreneurs all day on Thursday, June 25, at the Georgian hotel in Santa Monica. Just fill out a form (pick either launch or pitch), and drop me a note that you’d like to meet on one of those days.
Alumni companies at DEMO include Adobe Acrobat, Sun’s Java, Netscape Navigator, Placeware, the foundation for Microsoft Live Meeting, Palm Computing, WebEx, Salesforce.com, TiVo, E-Trade; VM Ware, Google’s first foray into mobile search, and many more.
