We’re about to launch the next series of posts for “Conversations on Innovation,” and we’re soliciting articles and ideas for columns from you, our readers.
We first launched Conversations last fall, with the goal of writing about the most cutting-edge technology developments of our day. We’re doing it again because of the success of the first series: We generated excellent feedback on the pieces, which ranged from the future of touch technology, to the latest in augmented reality, new forms of healthcare and how cloud is affecting the enterprise.
Many of you, as top executives at fast-growing tech companies, have the expertise we’re looking for to provoke debate about the most compelling trends. Let us know if you’d like to get involved. Email me here with your best ideas. We’re looking for both blue-sky thinking and the kind of deep detail that shows your command of the topic.
We’re delighted that Microsoft is sponsoring the series again.
We’ll start publishing the next series over the next few weeks. We’re already working on pieces that address the future of online television, voice interfaces, and Web runtime frameworks. We’re open to other themes as well. We’ll be posting pieces by our own writers as well as by independent experts. Top minds from Microsoft, as a sponsor, will also contribute pieces. These pieces will all be marked as “Conversations on Innovation.”
You can find the series through a widget on our homepage that remains on our homepage over the next few weeks or link directly to the Conversations on Innovation page. We’ll also be following comments closely, which will appear on the widget. Even if you’re not sparking the conversation as an expert, you can still contribute insights.
We look forward to hearing from you. I can’t wait to get the conversations started!
