VentureBeat is preparing for its annual MobileBeat 2010 conference on July 12-13, and we’re seeking a paid intern to work part-time from now until July 15 to assist with event marketing, speaker support, coordination, and anything else that may arise.
If you’re looking to break into the tech or mobile industry, this is your chance to work on one of the exciting events in the business. If you are a recent college graduate or currently between jobs, this is the perfect opportunity to get close to some of the biggest movers and shakers in the industry. Executives from top mobile and media companies will be speaking at the conference, and entrepreneurs from some of the coolest startups will be launching new products.
The conference, which takes place at The Palace Hotel in San Francisco, explores the superphone revolution led by companies like Apple (iPhone) and Google (Android).
Qualifications we’re looking for:
- Great communication skills – both verbal and written
- Positive attitude
- Experience in Office suite apps like PowerPoint and Excel
- Strong organizational skills and relentless attention to detail
- Working knowledge of graphics/design programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) a plus
- Working knowledge of WordPress or other blogging platforms a plus
