Anyone who buys Boxee’s sweet-looking Boxee TV device this holiday season will get some goodies along with it: three free months of Netflix and unlimited cloud DVR.

As we wrote yesterday, Boxee TV goes on sale today at more than 3,000 Walmart stores around the country and online.

At only $99, Boxee TV is competitive with popular set-top boxes like Roku and Apple TV. Boxee is essentially betting the company on the Boxee TV, and it hopes to generate meaningful revenue from its insane cloud DVR service because the hardware itself won’t be profitable. That DVR service will cost users $15 per month.

Boxee also announced its finalized lineup of apps that will come pre-installed on Boxee TV:

• Netflix
• VUDU
• YouTube
• Pandora
• Vimeo
• Spotify
• MLB
• TED
• WSJ
• Cloudee
• Accuweather

Here’s a look at the interface on the device:
