People Can Fly is grounding its name for good.

The developer, which is best known for chaotic 2011 shooter Bulletstorm, is now Epic Games Poland (as first reported by Pixel Enemy). The Warsaw-based studio most recently released Gears of War: Judgment on Xbox 360.

Gears of War developer and creator of the Unreal graphics engine, Epic Games, owns a majority stake in the company. With this move, the company is trying to reflect its global footprint.

“We’ve changed the studio’s name from People Can Fly to Epic Games Poland,” an Epic Games spokesperson told GamesBeat. “We’re a global company with talented people working toward one goal across the world. We think this helps better reflect that.”

We asked Epic what Epic Games Poland is working on now, and the company revealed it is pitching in on the upcoming co-op sandbox shooter Fortnite.

“Multiple Epic studios are working together to develop Fortnite, including Epic HQ in North Carolina and Epic Games Poland,” said the spokesperson.
