[Update: Fixed name of entity to be Nexon XP]
One of the gaming giants of Asia has lost one of its executives tasked with developing new business in the Western markets.
Ron Moravek, one of the chiefs of Nexon XP and a previous senior vice president of new games and emerging markets at Nexon America, has left the company, GamesBeat has learned.
Nexon is an Asian online gaming giant, but it wants to be a player on the worldwide gaming market, under the plans of chief executive Owen Mahoney.

Moravek has a lot of experience gaming, and he joined Nexon a couple of years back to head live game operations at Nexon America. Then he took on a more prominent role at the company’s Nexon XP division, a dedicated to bringing external development talent to Nexon America. Moravek declined to talk about his departure.
I’m not sure how to interpret Moravek’s departure. Nexon America just launched the closed beta of its first title developed specifically for the Western mraket — Splash Damage’s Dirty Bomb — and is working with Gears of War creator Cliff Bleszinski to bring his project BlueStreak to market, as well as acquiring and managing other new online titles meant to expand its global business.
