Fans of Minecraft (and who isn’t these days) will get a treat on Tuesday next week as Telltale bring their masterful storytelling graphic adventure games to the Minecraft universe. Fans of Telltale’s The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones series will be familiar with what to expect in terms of gameplay flow.

If you’re not familiar with Telltale’s game, you might want to check out the world’s largest “Let’s Play” will happen later next Monday October 12th, a day before the game’s release. Details here.

Gamers wanting to pick up Minecraft: Story Mode – A Telltale Game Series can score an easy peasy 31% off deal courtesy of GMG (update: now 20% off as preorder deal is over).

Note that the game being sold at GMG is a “Telltale” key, which means you’ll setup an account and redeem your game here. Gamers unfamiliar with GMG will essentially receive a product code after purchase (your game’s “CD key”), where you can use it at the above linked redeem page to activate the game.

Because this is an episodic game like all other Telltale games, the cheapest way to receive all 5 episodes is with the deal at GMG. For example, the same game at Steam Store is at a more expensive $22.49 (update: now full price at $25).

GMG’s deal above will last until October 13 on the release date, where the 10% off instant savings will be over. The coupon should still work but that means the game will be around $19-$20 instead of the current $17.

Gamers on other platforms are a bit out of luck on the deal department, as almost everywhere else is at the full retail price. Gamers with Best Buy’s Gamers Club Unlock can receive 20% off their order for the Xbox 360/One and PS3/4 version at Best Buy (which is the Season Pass Disc) – but note that the release date for the console version is on 10/27/2015.
