During its third-quarter earnings call, Tesla revealed the latest edition to its executive team. Google vice president of finance, Jason Wheeler, is joining Tesla as its chief financial officer.

Tesla CFO Deepak Ahuja announced in June that he would be retiring from the company by the end of the year. Stock prices were down ever-so-slightly the morning after the announcement, though Ahuja had said he would stay on to help find a successor. He is currently helping to transition Wheeler into the role.

In addition to Wheeler, Tesla also hired Jon McNeill, former CEO of Enservio, to be Tesla’s head of global sales.
