It might be the most expensive city in the country, but that isn’t stopping gaming companies from going there.
Aeria Games announced today that it is opening a new office in downtown San Francisco. This will give the Berlin-based company greater access to the North American market. The U.S gaming industry will generate $21.96 billion in revenue, according to Newzoo, and Aeria is trying to establish its online games in this market.
The Berlin-based Aeria Games focuses on client-based online games for PC in the North America, South America, and European markets. Aeria also brings eastern MMOs (massively multiplay online games) to the West, including titles like Aura Kingdom and Echo of Soul.
“Focusing on growth marketing and revenue from titles that Aeria Games publishes in the North American market, the office will also be charged with user acquisition, social media management, and influencer marketing, along with lending expertise in European broadcast media to outside developers and publishers,” Aeria Games noted in a press release sent to GamesBeat.
