Next week sees the return of a rhythm-action classic.

Sony is bringing PaRappa the Rapper 2 to PlayStation 4 on December 15. It’s one of a wave of older games heading to Sony’s latest console, thanks to the machine’s recently unveiled PlayStation 2 emulation. Unfortunately, you’ll need to buy the game again through the digital PlayStation Store, even if you already own the PS2 disc.

Unlike Microsoft’s Xbox 360 emulation on Xbox One — which lets you download certain Xbox 360 games you already own digitally or physically — Sony’s emulation solution is all about selling classics a second time around. PS2 games on PS4 do come with some bonuses, though. They support 1080p, 60 frames-per-second, trophies, and features like Live Broadcast, Share Play, and Remote Play.

PaRappa the Rapper 2 arrives during something of a revival in the rhythm-action genre, thanks to titles like Persona 4: Dancing All Night, LaserLife, and the recently announced Rez Infinite. While PaRappa the Rapper 2 isn’t quite the classic that the first installment on the original PlayStation was, it’ll be interesting to see how it stacks up against these more modern takes on the genre.
