Just a week after the hoopla around Peach began, someone has developed Nectarine (yes, that’s right), an app that brings Peach’s social network not only to the desktop, but also to Android devices (via the mobile web, not through a native app). This isn’t an official app, but Peach creator Dom Hoffman remarked that it’s “very cool.”

Nectarine was created by developer Jason Miller. Now you can see all the posts, command line/magic words, and more wherever you are. Although you are using another app, you log in using your Peach credentials. Once you’ve authenticated, you’re provided with a somewhat enhanced view over what you have on the iOS app.

You’ll have the same features in Nectarine as you would in Peach, but there are some small tweaks to the design based on the device you’re on. However, you won’t be able to summon any of the “magic words” or upload photos.

Regardless, shouldn’t we be talking about how we can finally all use Peach? *shrugs*
