Mobile is about to get a little more trippy.

Tetsuya Mizuguchi’s Eighteen, a puzzle role-playing game taking place in a dream world, is coming to the U.S. after originally releasing in Japan for iOS and Android. The U.S. version is coming from publisher GameSamba, which also worked on mobile games like Star Trek: Alien Domain. Gamers best know Mizuguchi for hypnotic console and portable games like Rez and Lumines (which was also a puzzle game), but Eighteen gives the famed designer a chance to enter the $30 billion mobile games industry.

“We’re very excited to be working with [developer] Mobcast to bring Eighteen to the American market,” said Scott Wong, president of GameSamba, in a press release sent to GamesBeat. “A lot of us have been big fans of Tetsuya Mizuguchi’s previous games like Rez and Lumines, so it’s a thrill to work with him and the rest of Mobcast on their latest project.”

GameSamba noted that Eighteen will come out in the U.S. during the second quarter of this year. You can get an idea of what the game looks like via the trailer below.
