Accelerating WorkWell’s Ability to Deliver Soft Tissue Injury Prevention and Wellness Services to Corporate America
DULUTH, Minn.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–August 1, 2016–
WorkWell Prevention & Care, Inc. (“WorkWell”), the company setting the new standard for soft tissue injury prevention and wellness services, today announced Trinity Capital Investment (“Trinity”) plans to invest significantly in WorkWell to expand the company’s services and national network of providers. WorkWell also announced the promotion of Kevin Schmidt to Chief Executive Officer of WorkWell.
The investment in WorkWell aligns with the company’s recent announcement to transition corporate operations to Duluth, Minnesota. The move marks a return of leadership operations to Duluth, where the company was founded in 1991. Since 1991, WorkWell has delivered cost-effective, outcome-focused injury prevention solutions to its customers. The relationship with Trinity is key to accelerating WorkWell forward and further setting the company apart in the industry. WorkWell will remain focused on delivering innovative solutions that reduce the soft injuries and improve the musculoskeletal health of their customers’ workforces.
Kevin Schmidt has served as the Senior Vice President for Enterprise Solutions at WorkWell since 2007, and has been a pivotal leader for the company since 2001. Schmidt will be the first WorkWell CEO promoted from within the company.
“This is the perfect time for Kevin to become WorkWell’s Chief Executive Officer. We knew we needed someone with deep industry expertise and who has a relationship with WorkWell customers at this stage of growth,” said Trinity Partner Alex Erhart. “Today’s market is rapidly changing with new technology and innovation. Kevin’s ability to lead innovation combined with his operational management expertise will accelerate WorkWell and translate vision and strategy into a great experience for WorkWell customers,” said Erhart.
