Messaging app Snapchat, hot off of being copied by Facebook with Instagram’s new Stories feature, is announcing today a new feature called Geostickers. They’re stickers that play off of themes in specific cities around the world. Only while you’re in certain cities are you able to add them to your Snaps and send them to your friends in chats.

“Geostickers are available now in Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco, Washington DC, Honolulu, London, Sydney, São Paulo, Paris, and Riyadh,” Snapchat said in a blog post. “You’ll need to have your location services enabled to see them.”

You can add multiple Geostickers inside of individual Snaps. And you can send multiple Geostickers in a row to a friend in direct messages, too.

Also recently, Snapchat has added Bitmojis, introduced the Memories feature, and revamped its Discover section. And the startup is backing a new website called Real Life.

Snapchat faces competition not only from Facebook — with Messenger, WhatsApp, and Instagram — but also Google, Line, Signal, Telegram, Apple, and Microsoft, among others.
