We’re a month away from the launch of the sequel to one of this generation’s most notable new franchises, and publisher Electronic Arts is amping up the marketing.

Titanfall 2 received a new trailer this morning in the form of a cinematic video that establishes the atmosphere of the sci-fi shooter. In developer Respawn Entertainment’s next game, players will once again take on the role of a pilot who can run on walls and double-jump across the battlefield. Pilots can also call in giant mech suits that have massively destructive weapons and other capabilities. The game will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 28.

While you wait, however, check out the newest trailer. This clip is a CGI battle in the Titanfall universe, featuring a narration from the point-of-view of one of the game’s computer-controlled infantry troops. As part of his voiceover, the soldier reminisces about watching Titan pilots completely dominating the war. He explains how they are deadly while on foot and how they’re unstoppable once they’re in a Titan.

For Respawn, this is the first taste of the world-building the studio is preparing for its single-player campaign — something the original Titanfall didn’t have. While that Xbox One and PC shooter did feature some throwaway lines from NPCs that would marvel at your pilot skills as you rushed past them, Titanfall 2 is aiming to examine just how elite you really are.
