Israeli startup Viewly announced today that it closed a $1.3 million seed investment to help social activists spread their campaigns globally and raise funds for their causes.

Viewly was inspired by the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, and it helps “campaign creators better track participation and impact, while also bringing transparency to charity donations often associated with campaign challenges,” the startup said.



“There are millions of people who do good through the social networks,” said Viewly cofounder and CEO Alon Lewin. “We want to amplify their efforts with Viewly and give them tangible ways of measuring impact. With the launch of Viewly, we hope to change the world, one share at a time.”

Entrepreneur and investor Shone Tell led the round.
