The Infinity Stones are the most powerful objects in the Marvel universe, and now Mega Man is about to get his hands on them.

Capcom announced that it will release Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in 2017 at the PlayStation Experience fan event this morning. Now, as part of the Capcom Pro Tour fighting-game finals, the publisher has finally showed off the game in action. You can catch the trailer above, which demonstrates the hyperkinetic character-swapping action of a battle that features the team of Street Fighter’s Ryu and Mega Man taking on Iron Man and Captain Marvel. Fans of the series should love that the game looks as nuts as ever.

In the 60 seconds of gameplay, we can see characters using a variety of attack combos before switching off to their partner on the fly. But not everything in this game is fully familiar. This time around, characters will have access to Infinity Stone capabilities. The Infinity Stones, of course, are the ultra powerful gems that can manipulate time, mind, and more. They are also the key MacGuffins that tie together the various film entries in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite, however, they serve as the strongest attacks of each character. Capcom demonstrated Ryu using the Power Infinity Stone to perform a massive combo. The video also shows Captain Marvel using the Time Infinity Stone to do a huge number of attacks while slowing down the passage of time.

By the time this game comes out, it will be right in the lead up to the first Avengers film to focus on the Infinity Stones as Avengers: Infinity War Part I is due out in the summer of 2018.
