When Ubisoft Entertainment announced Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, everyone thought it was bizarre. But sometimes bizarre works. Ubisoft released its earnings for the first half of fiscal year 2018 and it’s showing some strong numbers on the Nintendo Switch. It generated 19 percent of its Q2 revenue on the hybrid home/handheld console thanks to a wacky yet surprisingly delightful foray into the Mushroom Kingdom.

Mario + Rabbids drummed up a lot of anticipation when it was announced at the Electronic Entertainment Expo earlier this year. When it launched in September, it was the top-selling game on the platform and got solid reviews. It’s not the only Ubisoft game on the Switch, though; Just Dance 2018 also debuted on October 24. Though the sales aren’t available yet for that title, it’s the latest installment in a hit series that’s sold over 48 million copies so far.

The Switch has sold well since its March launch, placing as the top-selling console for several months, though the PlayStation 4 is still the best-selling platform year-to-date.
