Bill Roper is a veteran of the games industry, with a history that spans over two decades. He came to Improbably from Disney’s game division, taking a hand in creating titles like Disney Infinity and more. At Blizzard Entertainment, he spearheaded the launch of iconic titles like the Warcraft, StarCraft, and Diablo franchises. He also spent years as CEO of Flagship Studios, where he worked on Hellgate: London, and was the chief creative officer of Cryptic Studios.

As chief creative officer at Improbable, Roper will be working with studios to help unlock the possibilities for new gameplay types and huge, persistent online worlds, all enabled by the massive, detailed, and persistent online worlds that can be built on SpatialOS, Improbable’s cloud-based distributed computing platform, SpatialOS.
