Matthew Glotzbach is the CEO of Quizlet, the largest user-generated consumer learning platform in the U.S., using activities and games to help students practice and master what they're learning.
Prior to joining Quizlet, Matthew was the vice president of product management at YouTube, responsible for YouTube's Subscription and Music business and a member of the YouTube executive leadership team. He formerly lead the global Creator product and technology direction and served as the Managing Director of YouTube in Europe, Middle East and Africa where he was responsible for the strategy, development and management of YouTube’s business and product direction.
Previously, he lead the Apps and Enterprise product divisions within Google. where he was responsible for the strategy, development and management of Google's Enterprise line of products. In 2007 he launched Google Apps, Google's cloud computing suite for business. In the same year he played a key role in the acquisition of the security and compliance company Postini, Google's third largest acquisition ever. As the head of Google's Enterprise search business, he has led the development of the Google Search Appliance, and is responsible for launching the Google Mini and Google Site Search. In 2007 he launched Google Apps, Google's cloud computing suite for business.
Prior to joining Google in 2004, Matthew was a senior member of the management team for the computer industry business unit at Trilogy, an enterprise software company based in Austin, TX. Matthew holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Cornell University.
