DALLAS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–April 16, 2015–
Cinsay, Inc., the leader in social video eCommerce, announced today that it has settled pending proceedings with Joyus, Inc. and the parties have entered into a Confidential Settlement Agreement.
The Confidential Settlement Agreement relates to litigation filed by Cinsay, Inc. against Joyus, Inc. in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, Dallas Division in September 2013, alleging infringement of U.S. Patent Nos. 8,312,486, 8,533,753, and 8,549,555 for interactive Internet-based video applications.
The settlement follows a favorable claim construction order issued in Cinsay’s patent infringement proceedings against Joyus, Inc. The claim construction order further supports the validity of the asserted patents. Cinsay believes the strong claim construction ruling will provide a significant advantage with respect to future litigation and licensing of its patents.
