Back in November, we did a little take-out on San Franicsco’s GoFish.com, a new digital media search engine by Michael Downing, former CEO of Musicbank. Downing said at the time that his goal was to license his technology to other search engines. Today comes word that Downing has landed what appears to be his first noteworthy partnership. He’s signed a licensing agreement with search engine IceRocket to deliver multi-media search on their site. For better or worse, IceRocket (more info on the search site here) is probably best known as the Dallas search engine start-up that’s backed by Internet billionaire Mark Cuban.
