Since we reported on Yahoo’s site for Katrina help, it is only fair that we mention Google’s site, which is found here: www.google.com/katrina.html.
It’s worth noting the two buttons under the search bar. One allows you to search on any keyword and get results from only Hurricane Katrina-related web pages. The other, Katrina People Search, accesses public databases to find information on affected friends or family members.
While you’re at it, see Google’s new feature which integrates National Geographic’s articles and pictures into Google Earth, so that you can look up local information as you fly around the globe.
