We were initially bummed we couldn’t make it to a dinner hosted by music-swap company Mercora last night. Mercora, a Santa Clara start-up, lets people swap freely and legally — by following the rules of a peer-to-peer radio broadcaster. We wrote about them here.
We’ve been meaning to try out the service, and still plan to. But we’re sure glad we didn’t make it to the dinner. Based on SEW’s account, it was more like a dog’s breakfast.
Update, 6/24: Here’s another account of the dinner, from BusinessWeek. Whines too, but has substance of what took place.
