Single and looking? Head to “A’Cuppa Tea” in Berkeley

That’s a caf� at U.C. Berkeley where some students are carrying out an interesting research project that links online social networking with off-line convenience of actually meeting in-person.

The project is called PlaceSite, and uses wireless networks to create a digital community service by, for and about people who are in the same caf� together. (Via Jeff and Howard)
