A number of Silicon Valley VCs have started blogs, and we’ll likely be referring to them in future posts. One is Tim Oren, of Palo Alto’s Pacifica Fund. Until recently, he was blogging from his firm’s Web site. But, he’s recently started blogging on his own, partly because his firm expressed concerns that people would think Pacifica endorsed his views. We wouldn’t want that, especially since he’s taken to linking to our very own Michael Bazeley ;-)
As for the most popular VC blogs, here’s one indicator of ranking. Oren wasn’t included on the list of VCs considered. But apparently leading the pack of those included is VentureBlog, which is a combined effort by a number of VCs, the more active being David Hornik of August Capital.
