This week I’m blending two short pieces into one look at SNK and figSNK Buildinghters. The Neo Geo was a fighting game powerhouse, but what occurred to make it that way?

Taken together, these pieces work to provide a better picture of the fighting genre, and why people even still want Neo Geos.  People like Jeff Gerstmann, who admittedly spent a thousand dollars on a misprint copy of Garou: Mark of the Wolves. (The misprint: Mark of the Worves.)

Special guest appearance: annoying background music.
