I’d like to take this moment to talk about a serious issue that affects ones of Americans: Patagioenas Fixis, or commonly known as Pigeon Staring. Every year, ones of Americans are diagnosed with a terminal case of Pigeon Staring wherein the afflicted is unable to stop staring at pigeons whether real or, in rare cases, imaginary. Perhaps you’ve seen them on your way to work. Perhaps you have a loved one diagnosed by this disease. Then you know just how heartbreaking it is to watch them waste away their life incessantly staring. If you or you know someone with this disease or would like to learn more, please visit us at our website.

If this image fascinates you to no end, you may have Patagioenas Fixis.

Now that I’ve managed to entertain you, however so slightly, please read over the 2 paltry releases coming out this week.

Remember. Release dates are quite literally made at the whims of the publisher.  The following are subject to change without any warning.

Coming This Week

Tuesday February 1, 2011

Rock Band Track Pack: Country 2 (Xbox 360, PS3, Wii)

For those of you who felt that Rock Band was just not country enough AND doesn’t have their consoles connected to the internet, Harmonix has heard your pleas. This track pack of 21 songs from artists like Dwight Yoakam, George Strait, Johnny Cash, Reba McEntire, Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, and Shania Twain should keep you sated for a while.

Ultimate Battle of the Sexes (Wii)

Gender wars are about to get even uglier now that they have a new battleground! This mini-game collection pits two teams (theoretically one side men and the other women, but it’s not like it’s against the law not to follow that.) in a series of mini-games, some of which involves the Wii Balance Board, that will dispel all gender myths FOREVER!

Which to play, which to play? Oh the dilemmas I face every week. Guess I’ll just replay Dead Space 2 or something.
