Geckoboard gets wacky and wild with widgets and $1.5M
Dashboard software company Geckoboard has raised $1.5 million in funding. Its business monitoring tool displays data in real time, such as accounts, new and returning users, and unique visit numbers. Geckoboard has also released a Widget Editor that developers can use to create and share their own widgets, and will open up the possibilities for integrations. The company was recently named one of London’s hottest startups by the Guardian. Index Ventures, 500 Startups, DN Capital, and a series of prestigious angel investors participated in this round.
Kollabora sits in the ol’ investment tree
Marketplace for craft supplies Kollabora has raised $2.3 million. The site offers DIY project ideas and instructions, as well as shopping opportunities. Beyond the SEC filing, the details of the investment have no been disclosed.
