App Annie, a provider of app-store analytics, announced today that it has launched its free and premium products for Google Play, the Android App Store.
That should result in improved analytics information and all-important intelligence for mobile-application publishers. With the addition of App Annie for Google Play, publishers will be able to simultaneously track their iOS, Mac, and Google Play Android apps on a single, cross-platform dashboard.
App Annie says it is the world’s most popular app-store analytics site, used by more than 100,000 apps and 13,000 publishers. That includes 80 percent of the top iOS publishers. App Annie provides insights into their application downloads and revenues, in-app purchase data, ranking across categories and geographies, and trend analysis.
App Annie for Google Play features Analytics for Google Play, Store Stats for Google Play, and Intelligence for Google Play. The latter is an enterprise-grade service that provides the company’s most advanced market data intelligence for the app stores.
“At App Annie, our vision has always been to transform the face of analytics and market data services for all major app stores,” said Bertrand Schmitt, CEO, App Annie. “The launch of our product suite for Google Play is the first of many major steps towards achieving this vision, and we will always stand by our model of providing great free and paid services so that app publishers anywhere can benefit from our technology.”
