Developer Blizzard isn’t done with Diablo III quite yet.
Overnight, the company announced Diablo III: Reaper of Souls, which will add a new quest and more to the action role-playing game, as first spotted by Eurogamer. Blizzard did not reveal a release date for the extra content.
In June, GamesBeat reported that Blizzard was delaying its first expansion for Diablo III into 2014. It looks like that is still the case.
In addition to the new campaign, Reaper of Souls will introduce a midrange player character called The Crusader that focuses on melee attacks. The add-on will expand the level cap to 70, and Blizzard plans to update the endgame and Paragon system, which are bonuses for fully leveled characters.
