Developer King has released the 2,000th level for Candy Crush Saga, its hit, free-to-play puzzle game for mobile. Candy Crush Saga, which originally came out back in 2012, is one of the biggest hits ever in the $36 billion mobile business. It’s success elevated King to a position as one of the top mobile games companies, which resulted in its sale to Activision Blizzard for $5.9 billion. Few games are popular enough to justify having 2,000 levels to play through.

The 2000th level is available to anyone who has beaten the 1,999th stage, but it’s also playable to any that have at least hit level 10 as part of an in-game live event for the next seven days.

Candy Crush Saga continues to be one of the most played games around the world and has enjoyed continued success in the download charts since launch. We’ve launched this very special 2,000th level to celebrate and give something back to our fans, and we hope they have as much fun playing it as we did making it.”
