If you turned on your PlayStation 4 today, you may have noticed that Capcom slipped a Street Fighter V update onto your system a couple of hours ago.
It looks Capcom is preparing Street Fighter V for a second round. When is that happening? Capcom isn’t being very open with those details, but a spokesperson did confirm with us what the patch is for.
“We are currently running an internal stress test on the Street Fighter V servers, which will help us get the first official public beta program re-launched as quickly as possible,” said the Capcom spokesperson.
Those of us that were a part of the first Street Fighter V beta test remember Capcom’s servers getting pounded, which caused many people to experience trouble logging in. So shoring up those machines before the next round sounds like an extremely good idea to me.
