Grinding and breeding Pokémon is for people with too much time. Here’s a better way to get three special pocket monsters.
Nintendo is giving away codes for three Pokémon from Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, according to the games’ website. All you need to do is track down those codes, go to the Myster Gift option from the main menu of your game, and use the codes. This is an easy way for you to add Serperior, Emboar, and Samurott to your collection of captive pocket animals.
Here’s how to get each one:
You can get your code for Serperior, the grass-type snake-like creature, right now by going to the game’s official website. The code is buried beneath some text, but it looks like this:
To get Emboar, the fiery pig guy with tribal tattoos (Pokémon is crazy!), you need to do the same thing next week. On Jan. 29, Pokémon.com will have a new code that will get you access to Emboar. You’ll just need to check back at that time.
Finally, Nintendo will send out a code by Jan. 31 in the Pokémon Trainer Club newsletter for Samurott, the water-type otter samurai thingy (seriously?). In order to get the newsletter, you’ll have to sign up for a Trainer Club account. You can do so right here.
