The days of full retail recommended prices on release week for PC games are long behind us. Gamers interested in the latest installment of the Might & Magic series Heroes of Might & Magic VII — now better known as Might & Magic: Heroes VII — can save as much as 40% off the game starting today.
Over at Steam Store, reviews are mixed – although mostly due to gamers unhappy with the Uplay client being required given it’s an Ubisoft-published title. While Steam Store has the game pegged at the full $50, three authorized retailers have the game at significant savings:
- Might & Magic Heroes VII at GMG — $30 (list $50)
Use Code: 40PERC-MAMVII-BUYNOW - Might & Magic Heroes VII at Funstock Digital — $35.18 (list $50)
Use Code: SEP-COUPMAIL-NEW20 - Might & Magic Heroes VII at 2game — $34.99 (list $50)
The game is released today, and as of writing, all retailers are sending out the Might & Magic: Heroes VII product code instantly after purchase. Fans of the series unfamiliar with Uplay (because they’ve been playing HOMM3 forever) can load up their Uplay client, then click the “Activate Product” button on the homepage. Or for those needing a bit more visual aid, check out this helpful PDF guide from the Humble guys on activating Heroes VII.
