Ted Price from Insomniac Games took the stage at Sony’s PlayStation Experience morning keynote press conference to re-introduce the expanded remaster of the 2002 platformer Ratchet & Clank.
The PlayStation 4 version of the game will feature additional content, including new boss fights not found in the original PlayStation 2 release. Insomniac showed off one of the game’s early cutscenes, leading into a live gameplay demonstration of one of the first few levels.
Both the game and the upcoming movie adaptation will debut in April of next year. Ratchet & Clank PS4 will launch on April 4 while its movie counterpart will hit theaters on April 29.
