There are two types of people in the world today. The first constantly repeats “Primrose Everdeen” in a half-assed Effie Trinket voice and owns a life-sized shrine to Rue in her room, along with a Jennifer Lawrence hair doll in her purse. The second is sitting on Twitter and saying, “Battle Royale did it first! And better.” There’s also probably a third kind of person who can’t afford a DVD player, but let’s just exclude him for argument’s sake.
That’s right, The Hunger Games is out on home video today, and to celebrate, GamesBeat dug up a couple Hunger Games/Minecraft crossover videos. YouTube user “CaptainSparklez” and friends (or tributes, if you must) loosely recreated a little friendly competition…to the death! Unfortunately, no poorly rendered CG mutant dogs appear in this video, but there are lots of creepers, which are slightly more believable anyway.
