May 10 can’t come soon enough for Uncharted fans.
That’s when Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End comes out for the PlayStation 4. It’s one of the most anticipated exclusives yet for the successful system (which has outsold its competitor, the Xbox One). A big release like this can further cement its position as the console industry leader in the $99.6 worldwide gaming market. The three Uncharted games for the PlayStation 3 sold over 21 million copies. With the release looming, Sony has released a new trailer that’s full of excitement, screaming, and a dash heroic reluctance. You can watch it below.
The last console entry in the series — Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception — came out back in 2011 (although a portable release, Golden Abyss, arrived on the Vita shortly after in 2012). Uncharted 3 sold over 6 million copies. Coupled with the many delays that Uncharted 4 suffered, fans are ready to dive back into another Nathan Drake adventure (which, considering the subtitle, some fear might be his last).
