Xbox 360 SlimUpdate: A Microsoft spokesperson contacted GamesBeat shortly after 2 a.m. Eastern on Monday to say that Xbox Live’s Cloud Storage service is up and running again.

Original Story: Some Xbox 360 owners are unable to access their saved games and data in cloud storage, according to Xbox Live’s server status page. Service outages aren’t uncommon, but they’re annoying to consumers during the busy holiday season, when many players can pay extra attention to games and want to log all of the entertainment time they can get.

“We heard that you are running into some problems when you try to use the Cloud Game Save feature,” Xbox Live writes. “Thanks for all of your feedback. We are still hard at work, and we will get this fixed as quickly as possible.”

This is the second outage this week on the console. Netflix subscribers were unable to use the app on Christmas Eve for several hours. It’s not clear exactly how long the outage has lasted, but stories about the problem ran as early as Friday. A spokesman for Microsoft said Sunday that the site referenced had the most updated information.
