Do you hear that? That's the sound of a gamer in your neighborhood screaming as they play through Frictional Games' most recent title: Amnesia.

It's been a few years since Frictional released Amnesia–the first PC game that made me Control-Alt-Delete, turn off my monitor, and unplug my headphones in fear. Today saw the creation of a website fittingly titled "nextfrictionalgame.com" with the blurred image you see above and a link to a Google maps image of China.

Frictional games is one of my favorite developers. Before Amnesia, Frictional's Penumbra series served as a testament to the power story-driven, emotional game experiences. "Emotional game experiences" is a manly and verbose way of saying, "when I play their games, I soil myself."

Let's hope Frictional unveil new project soon, then hide it again because it's too scary.
