The former is concerned with finding applications that can service their needs within a particular ecosystem, while the latter is searching for better opportunities to not only market their wares but also streamline the process by which they can make money off their work.

Anyone taking advantage of AppDirect’s Monetization Suite will receive billing and distribution support, including streamlined, automated, and managed billing across all of AppDirect’s network of marketplaces. Additionally, the Suite offers reseller management, which gives resellers and referral partners the ability to sell and manage customer accounts, register leads, and create subscriptions, managing logistics throughout the customer life cycle. Lastly, AppDirect provides marketplace and management service so companies will be able to give their customers a centralized area in which to find, buy, and manage cloud services.
