Holy moly, what a week it’s been! As one of our astute editors pointed out, paranoia (that some other company is stealing your ideas, getting ahead at your expense, etc.) seemed to be a theme this week.
Here’s the recap:
- We got the scoop on this one: a confirmed bidding war between Twitter and Facebook over Instagram!
- Oracle’s ongoing lawsuit with Google went to trial, and we were reporting live from the courthouse on that.
- Box CEO Aaron Levie saw the writing on the wall (or on the dinner napkin, whatever) when Google launched Drive, its own cloud offering.
- Sensing drastic instability in the market, we predict delays for the Facebook IPO.
That’s all for this week. And remember, like the fella said, just because you’re paranoid don’t mean they’re not after you.
Have a great weekend!
