“It’s a new app that let’s you create cards on your phone, and we’ll do the rest. We’ll print them out, we’ll emboss them. You can choose between 21 designs,” said Apple’s Scott Forstall.
Apple said cards mailed within the US will be tracked with the US Postal Service barcode. You’ll also get a push notification when it arrives at its destination.
The app is free, but shipping a card will run you $2.99 each. The app will go live in the App Store October 12.
