Asus has today announced the three smartphones that comprise its new ZenFone 5 series. The announcement was made at a press even being held as part of Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona.

ASUS CEO Jerry Shen introduced the ZenFone 5Z and ZenFone 5, a pair of 6.2-inch dual-camera smartphones that include new artificial intelligence features and boast screens covering 90 percent of the front. The new lineup also includes a smaller version, the ZenFone 5, which is six inches and includes a new four-camera system.

The higher-end 5Z runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform, a chip that also powers the Qualcomm Artificial Intelligence Engine (AIE), with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM. The ZenFone 5 runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 Mobile Platform.

The company also announced a marketing partnership with rock band and viral video sensation OK GO, which performed after the press event.
