Google today announced that its standalone Google Photos photo storage app now has more than 100 million monthly active users.
Google Photos launched in May with free unlimited storage as a key perk.
Users have made more than 15 million animations and collages with Google Photos, according to a Google blog post. And the service has cleared up more than 3.7PB of storage, as it can back up photos online.
Not that Google Photos is even close to being Google’s most popular service. Search, Chrome, YouTube, and Google Maps all had more than 1 billion users as of May, and Gmail had more than 900 million users.
