Apple has published a set of three new videos at its site designed to help prospective Watch buyers understand how their new gadget will work in everyday life.
Apple refers to the videos as “guided” tours, and it has so far posted videos about the Watch’s messaging functions, the watch faces, and the “digital touch” communication tool.
More videos are coming soon, detailing the Watch’s way of doing phone calls, maps, the personal assistant (Siri), music, Apple Pay, activity tracking, and workouts.
Apple must convince consumers that the Watch is more than just an optional add-on device for their phones. It wants to make the point that the Watch will soon weave its way into all of the little workflows in people’s lives.
The videos try to demonstrate this, and they could be the thing that closes the deal for many buyers.
The Watch goes on sale in stores April 24. Preorders start April 10 at midnight Pacific time.
