Update: As of 8:50 a.m. PDT, April 17, Seamless is finally back online. You may now order your lunch.

Seamless, an online food ordering service popular in New York, is down.

From what we can tell, the site has been down for three straight hours, and a slothful mob of Twitter users too lazy to grab pitchforks wants answers.

Speaking for a growing horde of genuinely concerned New Yorkers, I asked Seamless’ ill-fated community manager for an explanation.

This is not good.

Of course, technically, you can use your phone to call a restaurant (consider that our PSA). Or you can join me in pawing at my keyboard longingly until the site comes back online.
