Social networking giant Twitter is back at it, experimenting with the desktop web experience millions of people see everyday. Today Twitter confirmed to VentureBeat that it’s rolled out a new look for search results on its web client.
“Yes, we’re currently testing this among a small group of users,” a Twitter spokeswoman told VentureBeat.
The revamped user interface allows you to click and access Top tweets based on your search, Live tweets (presumably what you saw with the All button in the web client), Accounts, Photos (tweets with photos, that is), and Videos (tweets with videos, naturally). And there’s a “More options” dropdown menu, too, where reside many of the filters that live in the left rail in the regular design’s search results.
Not every word I searched for brought up this new look. And some people can’t get it at all right now. But that could change.
Twitter has been quite active with feature changes lately.
