Flock browser finally out for public use

The much talked about Flock browser is finally out. They told us a beta version would be out tonight, but somebody just sent us a link, with username and password (below). If you can’t figure it out, wait until tonight, and try going to www.Flock.com.

Update: See comment below about importing favorites. Apparently, we missed a little warning in the original note we got from Flock, which we forward here: “We recommend that you not import settings from other browsers (importing of favorites won’t work, in any event, that’s a known bug – we’ll fix it soon)”

  • Thanks for the pointer. I've installed it but looks and feels pretty much like Opera browser.
Also, it uses a little bit of less memory(run time) compared to Firefox.

However, flock failed to import my IE favorites even though the option was selected during install.

    Warm Regards,
    Kavs
