Arch Rock raises $10M for wireless sensor networks
Arch Rock, a San Francisco an open-standards-based wireless sensor networking company, has raised $10 million in a second round of venture funding.
The round came from existing backers. New Enterprise Associates led the round, which included Shasta Ventures and Intel Capital. All three were participants in Arch Rock’s first $5 million round of funding in in October 2005.
The company brought its first two products to market over the past eight months. Arch Rock joins a host of other companies that are offering similar products.
The company said its products are used in environmental monitoring, tracking and logistics, industrial automation and control. Here’s the company’s full statement.
